The holiday programme was the initial purpose of Teen Ranch. With youth coming to Cobbitty from all over the Sydney basin to experience the adventure of a new type of camping in Australia, a place where they were able to experience a variety of activities from horse riding to campfires. Over the years the holiday programme grew, drawing hundreds of campers and volunteer staff each school holiday period.
Holiday Adventure Days
Our Holiday Adventure Programme is a series of day activities, tailor made to suit busy schedules and diverse interests. Each day programme is specifically designed for a fun and challenging experience for our guests. With a variety of options available each school holiday period, guests can choose an adventure to suit them, visiting as often as they please to hone their skills or to try their hand at new skills each day.
Ranch Riders
Saddle up and adopt a horse for the day. Learn and enjoy some great skills both on and off the horse.
Roping Adventures
Harness in for an adventure on the climbing tower, giant swing, high ropes or crate climb.
The Classics
Get a taste of Ranch life as you enjoy three of our most popular, and classic, activities.
Thrills and Skills
Put a thrill in your day and test your skills with some giant swing, archery and rock climbing.
Outdoor Adventure
Put away all devices and look up at the sky to enjoy a day of rock climbing, bush skills and giant swing.
Bush Adventure
Pull out a map as we head into the bush for a fun day of orienteering, bush challenges and bush cooking.
Kitchen Capers
Dust off that chef's cap and learn some basic baking and kitchen skills in our commercial kitchen.
Make 'n' Bake
Get creative as you learn some basic baking and cake decorating skills. What sort of masterpiece will you create?
The Big Splash
Slip on the sunscreen as you splash into an exciting day of wet activities at the Ranch, including the giant slip 'n' slide.
Holiday Roundups
Roundups bring together a diverse range of campers from all over the Sydney region to enjoy several days of camping adventure at Teen Ranch. The Roundup experience is unforgettable, creating memories that will last a lifetime, as young people are given the opportunity to experience all the Ranch has to offer whilst sharing in the community life.
